They're leaving! They're leaving!

 OMG!
ICE IS LEAVING!

So many people are telling me,
"I'll believe it when I see the back of them".
 Yes, fine, very wise. Very adult.

And, yes, yes, I know:
Trump is still president;
nuclear war still looms
 (silver lining: if we have a nuclear war, we don't need to worry about climate destruction!);
 Epstein & child rape rings; Putin; Gaza, etc. etc. etc.
Not to mention, Human Nature.

Of course I know!
But I don't care in this moment:

 I AM CELEBRATING!!!!!

"Minnesota immigration crackdown is ending, Homan says".
"I have proposed and President Trump has concurred, that this surge operation conclude."

I am not putting his photo on my blog,
but in case you haven't seen yet, here's the link:

    1. Yes, today we dance!
      It was costly,
      but our Strategy was superior
      and now people know it (nonviolent civil resistance) can work.

  2. I always called it "Sleeping with pods" which is what has happened to anything/ anyone near the Orange Gas in the manky blue suit that never changes. Minneapolis has won everyone's heart - courage- respect! Fine folk doing the best USA thing ever. The price was too high, the struggle too severe and yet, look at y'all. Doing what sincere honest folks do best. Everyone has fallen inn love with Minnesota. I can not get excited about the announcement- I do not trust anything!

    1. “Sleeping with Pods” is damn close! Worked during the McCarthy era and even sleepier now!
      I am excited …with caution.
      Thinking of people who can come out of hiding-/but not too soon!

  3. It's Invasion of the Bodysnatchers. (At least I think it is.) All decent people will rejoice with Minneapolis -- and be on the lookout for what's coming next.

    1. Gold ⭐️ for correct answer—the 1956 “invasion of the body snatchers “!
      Much rejoicing here—and, I trust, elsewhere (thanks).

  5. I couldn't believe it when I heard it initially. But I am so hopeful. Minneapolis has shown us how to do it. Well done, all of you.

  6. Deep appreciation. Mr. Rogers used to say look for the helpers. Now I (being Ms Rogers) say, look for the activists! The people have power. I do really really hope that Minneapolis can know peace now.

    1. Even better: BE the helper; be the activist ❤️

      The country and world is not at peace, so neither will we be, but a little pause in hostilities is sweet

  7. Congratulations to all of your community and I hope the spirit is not wasted as the challenge subsides but continues for at least a while to drive strong connections and better conditions for everyone to enjoy.

    1. I think we in Minneapolis have bonded in a new way—
      nothing like a common enemy to bring people together 😄
