... No matter what good may eventually come,
we will not forget those for whom it came too late.I had hung ICE-warning whistle kits ^ on the fence next to my workplace in the morning. After work, one had fallen next to a sparrow, frozen in the snow.
It’s not just the people shot to death by ICE.

It must be seriously cold if birds are freezing..
ReplyDeleteI expect it died of something else, I never see birds frozen on the ground. Of course it IS seriously cold, AND there’s no water to drink
DeleteP.S. Right now at 8:15 a.m., it's 0ºF / –18ºC,
Deleteand that's been normal this January (but statistically unusually cold)
We are having very cold temps too here in NH.
ReplyDeleteAcross the country, I think, eh?
DeleteI just added us graph of people who have died advice to tension – – perhaps I was not clear – – this is not a post about the weather
