P.S. Stodgy and Unimaginative

P.S. I was NOT meaning to imply the church was racist.
                               No.
I meant to say it was stodgy and unimaginative. Like many human institutions.

Play is a sign of growth, and the church was playing it safe with its Land Acknowledgement--wanting to Get It Right so badly, it was not genuinely open and curious.

Play it safe and you (we) end up being as predictable as AI expects us to be-- so predictable it can model itself on the predictable things you (we) do and say.

Religion is weird, at root--we're talking about cosmic mystery and consciousness here--it could be at least as weird as NASA's Astronomy Photo of the Day
[currently not being updated due to Federal Fuckery]

In contrast to stodgy and unimaginative, bink showed me a fun and wacky approach to religion:

Here, below, a rather mild creation, using one of my favorite artists:
"Carlo Crivelli & Peasant" ca. 1480

Go forth and be fruitful!
