The Fence of Silliness

I seem to be taking a blog break,
but wanted to let you know all is well.

I'm in what Wittgenstein called the green valley of silliness*-- continuing my Fence Project: putting prints and toys on the fence that the City erected to keep homeless people out of the little park next to the thrift store.

This week I demobbed a dozen little green army men. . .

. . .  and tied them up with yarn bows, for easy taking:

Such is my work in the world.

This is my favorite: Wittgenstein with a "

  2. Army guys- great transformations! Just in time, too since the orange excrement is shifting all of the funds from arts and education to the military. Good to see you here again! Dont 'break' all the way! That would sadden me greatly!!

Now we can work on infusions of art and education play into military toys! 😃❤️

  4. the army men as harbingers of peace perhaps?! and the idea of tying them to the fence. happy to see a post. would love to see a post with more of them on the fence and document as they ebb and flow. i did that for several months in dc -- taking a photo of the layfette statue against the white house at the same time when i could.
