I cannot believe my good luck!
Since I’d said I was going to do a Toy Protest, bink had wondered if plushies of Target's mascot, Bullseye the bull terrier, ever got donated to the thrift store.
"Sometimes," I said.
And yesterday at work, someone donated a whole bag of them! Offloading an unwanted symbol?
I took three, and now they’re all duded up & riding on wheels to parade downtown outside Target HQ tomorrow.
(I'd said I was going on Tuesday, but it's supposed to be 65ºF (18 C) tomorrow and only 42º on Tuesday.)
LOOK!
Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Joanne—it was a fun afternoon getting this going…
DeleteSerendipity at the highest!!! Absolutely love this. please take lots of photos. by the way, I posted links to the articles you had on the earlier blog post on someone's substack. They had written about whether a one day protest would be of any benefit.

Yes, what perfect timing! I’m glad you love it.
DeleteThat’s cool you were able to share the information – – and that the statistics came from the dull Supermarket News and not anarchistic Unicorn Riot! Lol
