It's happening! Grateful-J took my suggestion to "just hang a bare bulb" in the forthcoming Book Nook (still unpainted)--BUT, he also found a couple Chinese lanterns for them--and in blue, the store color.

BOOK's are in the back room, through the door at left, below, and kids' books are immediately to the right of the red blanket (Faribo!)
--it will be great to have book sections connected.
Some customers comment "Oh, I didn't know there was a back room" because there's only the one small interconnecting door in the back corner.

I'm happy that the Book Nook is happening, but last night I was genuinely sad:
with the snow, only one group of trick-or-treaters came to the door. Even the girlettes, who are almost never sad, were sad because they felt unnoticed in the lit-up windows. (Though I bet lots of people did notice them in the day, there just wasn't foot traffic last night. And I'm on a quiet corner, anyway.)
On we go to the next season, season of the embryo plasma creatures!
